The Landscape Atlas of Wien
An explorative, research-by-design atlas of Vienna's multilayered socio-ecological systems.
The Landscape Atlas of Wien is an explorative work on the multilayered sides of the City of Vienna. It utilises cartographic design methods to unravel the layers of the city and critically and systemically examine the socio-ecological systems present. The Atlas is an ongoing, open-ended, research-by-design collection.
Under the supervision of Cecilia Furlan, master's students in the study program Landscape Architecture and Planning at the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences conduct intensive research within the scope of the project in the form of their Master's Thesis project.
